The lecture is talking about the media. Media is about the technology used for social communication. On the Internet no body know who you are. Social network is about the group of people who have common interests of network. Web 2.0 is read-write web. Most of website is using the information from users or abstract people to browse that wedsite. As the high CTR, the website can gain more money from posting advertisment.
